Read on for our Copywriting Queen, Dani's, copywriting tips:
1. Create an attention-grabbing headline
Stop your reader in their tracks with a headline that grabs their attention.

Study some of the articles that you have clicked on in the past, and you'll notice that oftentimes, their headlines are what hook you into clicking on them.

Titles such as "What you really should understand about _ " or "5 things you need to know about ____" are a good starting point. Be creative.
2. Keep learning!
Be open to constantly improve your writing. Ask a friend to read over it and give you their opinion on it if you have no-one else to turn to. Also, if you're writing with SEO in mind, you'll need to be aware of how the algorithms are constantly changing so that you can constantly be adapting, learning and improving your skillset.
3. Make it inviting to read - visually!

As much as excellent copywriting is about your vocabulary, tone and language usage, there are far more subtle aspects to it too.

The layout, font choice, and structure of paragraphs make a big impact on how it will be received. Don't be afraid to play around a bit and justify or realign things to improve the way that you get your message across.
4. Keep it simple!
Remember that the trait of a genius is to be able to take highly complex ideas and explain them in easier terms. Similarly, the readability of your writing improves when you take a more simple approach. Conversational tones are easier to understand than academic ones but obviously bear in mind your target audience too. You don't want to be too informal, as it may seem unprofessional.

Tools like Grammarly and the Hemmingway App are a great way to improve your writing.

5. Know your audience and your purpose.
Writing a press release for the opening night of an Art Gallery is going to look completely different from writing an opinion piece for a lifestyle blog. The audience is different, the calls to action will be different, and therefore your writing needs to be too. Be aware of who is going to read your writing, and what it needs to achieve. Do you want someone to do something? Are you simply writing to inform? Do you want them to be entertained?
